BACKGROUND
Victoria Vantoch is an American writer & journalist who got into the limelight thanks to her marriage to American actor, Misha Collins. Misha is best known for his role as the angel Castiel on the CW television series Supernatural. Aside from that he is an author having co-written a book with his wife and is also a published poet.
Victoria was born in January 1974 in Riverdale, Illiois. She went to Northfield Mount Hermon School in Massachusetts before proceeding to college. She studied did her postgraduate degree in Anthropology from the University of Chicago. She then proceeded to get a doctorate degree in History from the University of Southern California.
Misha got into Victoria’s life when they were still in high school. They met at their English literature class where Misha was the only guy there. They two clicked immediately and started dating. They got married on 6th October 2001 after years of dating. The wedding was held in Maine and then in 2011 they renewed their vows at a Coinstar supermarket. The two were blessed with two kids, a son named West Anaximander Collins (2010) and a daughter named Maison Marie Collins.
CAREER
Writing in the direction Misha took in the early years of her career. In 2007, she authored The Threesome Handbook: A Practical Guide to Sleeping With Three which contained useful relationship and communication tips for couples. Her second book come up in 2013 which was titled Jet Sex: Airline Stewardess and the Making of an American Icon. This was a historical look at airline stewardship and it helped her get a number of recognition. In addition to these, she has also co-authored a book with her husband and most of the book sales will go to charitable organizations who specialize in food nutrition.
Victoria has also ventured into the teaching industry. She has taught history to college students as well as lectured at different places such as the National Air and Space Museum, Organization of American Historians and Library of Congress.
